Lizzy's Loving... Tangerine Tango!
Pantone reveals its colour of the year for 2012 and Lizzy's loving it....we're loving it too!
Pantone's choice of Tangerine Tango as colour of the year has focused attention on a shade that has been bubbling under for a few seasons and is set to star in 2012.
The powerful colour has been influential all over the catwalks for major fashion designers such as Marc Jacobs, Dior and Christopher Kane who have all used eye-catching tangerine for their SS12 collections.
It’s sophisticated yet dramatic and particularly flattering when worn with complementary shades of blue or green. When paired with brown, it brings out an amber cast, and it looks surprisingly fresh worn with white.
Key accessories in Tangerine add a dramatic touch to any outfit. Play down with a less saturated hue or opt for neon shades for a high impact look. A tangerine satchel bag will be a key piece for 2012.
The shade is also set to be popular for cosmetics. Tangerine Tango creates an exotic look when applied to nails, lips and eyes, perfect for the long summer nights.
Interior decoration is instantly energised with Tangerine Tango. Orange ceramics, wallpaper and furniture will be prominent in any room. Use bright, vibrant tones to create a look that is fresh and energising.

PANTONE 17-1463 Tangerine Tango.
